SKYCITY HOTEL AUCKLAND, Auckland – A Smart Stay in the City

My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, with a good selection of TV channels. Sky, the staff member, went the extra mile to make us feel special, and having a courtyard for outdoor seating was a nice touch for smokers like myself. However, there was some hair on the floor that could have been cleaner.

The hotel rooms were quite spacious and comfortable, providing a great view of Auckland, but some noise disturbances like clicking sounds and early construction work were a downside. The pillows were also uncomfortable, making it feel like being on a plane.

The suite I stayed in was absolutely fabulous, but unfortunately, it had a terrible musty 'wet old laundry' smell that spread out into the hall and room. The room appeared a bit tired compared to my previous stays; the broken toilet holder in the bathroom and the need to request room servicing made it feel less clean than I had hoped for.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The rooms were surprisingly spacious and came with a delicious breakfast every morning. The temperature in the room was consistently comfortable throughout my stay, even though the staff had to come to check it. The location was perfect for my needs, although it was quite busy due to Chinese New Year. The dining experience was decent but a bit overpriced for what was offered.

The hotel offers excellent comfort and is in a superb location, with beautiful spacious rooms and all the amenities one could need. The staff are friendly and welcoming, but there are limitations like the short iron cord. Despite some noise from construction, the overall experience was fantastic.

The hotel was lovely and clean, had everything we could need for a one night stay. The staff in general were lovely. However, the hotel was near elevators or ice machines, which could be a bit noisy at times.

However, the room was good enough and made me forget about our bad view. The location was excellent, conveniently close to central Auckland and a variety of dining options. Despite some noise from Maori dancers performing outside, the central location was glamorous and ideal. The service was friendly and accommodating, with a few minor hiccups such as noise from the room next door still under renovation. The dining experience was easy, with buffet options available but may need more variety. Overall, the hotel provided what we expected for the cost, but there were slight inconsistencies in cleanliness and service.

The hotel was an excellent choice for our stay, with top-notch rooms and exceptional staff service. However, the strict check-out time of 11 am was a bit inconvenient for us.

The hotel is ideally located near central Auckland and the harbour, close to everything with lots going on. The rooms were decent but had issues with the air conditioning causing a poor night's sleep. The service was a mix of snippy moments but also helpful tips for a perfect stay. The location, while super busy, offered fantastic amenities and spacious areas. The dining had a good range of food but lacked variety and seating availability during peak hours.

It felt like I was living like a millionaire in the room! The people there were awesome, and everything was very clean. However, it was a bit far away from the elevators, which was a tiny inconvenience.
